The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The Good: Tomorrow never comes.
The Bad: The world will end tomorrow.
The Ugly: Greed has usurped genius.

We used to herald great achievements as honorable contributions. Inventions were created to improve humanities lot and light the torch of an advancing civilization. Now, humanity wants a lot, lot more! And our vacant lot is polluted…

Greed is a spoiled genius*. And money helps us get our way. Unfortunately, getting our way does not necessarily point us in the right direction, and often avoids what we deserve (cutting corners does not make one well-rounded - Pa). We all know by now that if the price is right, you can get away with murder.

So instead of looking to people for answers - we look to profit. And more profit is always a better answer! To neoterically paraphrase an old saying: Honor thy money and thy finances (they may not be thy mother or thy father - but they are thy authority). Don’t tell me children don’t listen, they heard loud and clear the calling of our time… greed, Greed, GREED. The whole wide world’s agreed.

The problem is that the price of profit at all costs is poverty. The farmer that sells every seed without reseeding the field profits today by plundering tomorrow. And we pander to this poverty daily, profit, Profit, PROFIT! FOOLS! The wind settles, the tide retreats, the sun sets. The tempest of our vanity is the fracas of fools… more, More, MORE! Can we not hear the anorexic’s need to lose more weight? It is echoed in our need for daily profit… more, More, MORE! It is a moribund trait whose common denominator is humanity’s culling…

The fact is that we are not growing up - we are growing old. And as I’ve said before: The American way of doing business is growing old… and if we do not posit a paradigm shift en masse - we are going to get shafted. The economy echoes our neediness… and greed imperils our lot.

In the end all material is immaterial - Pa.

Peace is prosperity’s child - Pa

Until we mimic Nature we mock God - Pa.

Better to be vehemently opposed than violently composed - Pa.

Love is the answer to every question
Integrity is the solution to every problem
Function is the remedy to every malady
Edification is the rite to every passage - Pa.

*Love is God’s genius functioning in the flesh - Pa.
