I’m all for the bail out… of the American people and the world at large. Anyone remember the Jubilee*? Apparently there was more civility a few millennium ago than at present. How time flies…

Give the people the money, and the freedom to eradicate their debt and restore their good standing. Have mercy on those who have no money - not on the predatory lenders and CEO’s insulated from poverty and isolated from reality. The captains of industry that led by extortion are little more than modern day pirates - they’re extortionists! Let them be happy just to be alive.

If, the monies are released to the corporations, we’ll all fail - again. In Africa, if the lions were starving there’d be a problem. Feeding those lions doesn’t resolve the issue, because you can’t keep feeding them when there’s nothing to feed them! Instead, seed more grass. More grass would mean more prey to feed the lions. And it’s the same with the American financial situation. The corporations already have the fruits of our labors - waxing them will not create more fruit to slake the economies appetite. Watering the garden, that is per se, seeding from the bottom up, will ensure that more fruit gets circulated - everywhere for everyone.

It is absolutely ridiculous that our financial institutions have defrauded the people and that the people should pay them for the privilege of having done business so poorly. That’s default - not development. Corporations have cut the throat of our economic welfare by cutting employee pay, employee benefits, employee development and retention and employee loyalty - all in the name of greed, which profits the vile minority of people.

The bottom line is that America and the world at large lacks leadership. We’ve handed the stewardship of our welfare over to neotenic, puerile and ignominious caitiffs. And I for One, and All, find it appalling. Let them eat fruitcake! It’s just deserts!

*In the Bible, a year when alienated property and land were restored, slaves were manumitted, debts were forgiven, and a general sabbatical year was observed in agriculture.
