The world’s greatest bicycle race concluded today in France on the Champs-Elysees… the Tour de France.

And again, drug scandals took their toll - but not from the top ten …hurray. A quiet young man (compared to me!) won this years edition of le tour: Carlos Sastre. Carlos beat a man named Cadel by way of a vastly superior team (Cadel also placed second last year).

This exploit in the world of cycling shows again the power of teamwork worked to perfection - and overworking the competition. Carlos is a worthy champion, quiet and quintessentially calculating. Though Carlos said little, his legs spoke loud and clear: mine, Mine, MINE!
