The Oakway center offers a lot of little shops, a running store, a shoe store, clothing stores, a chocolate store and several restaurants. What’s really neat about the inside block where the grove of Oak Trees still stand is that most of the restaurants located there have outside dining - and there’s often live music playing during the summer months.
We tried the Oakway Wine & Deli last night, and of course, we dined outside. The service was good, the atmosphere was great and the food generous. We arrived late in the day as the Sun was setting and the shadows were spreading across the courtyard in which we dined. There was a pleasant smattering of people, with children running amuck and adults chaperoning nonchalantly. The wafting scents of food filled the air and a grill nearby foretold of tasty morsels charred and consumed. Summer had arrived… enjoy!
