Restitution is a splendid thing - far better than retribution…

Sun Automotive was mentioned in an earlier blog* in a rather incriminating manner - and correctly so! They came highly recommended to us as a repair shop for our ailing, aging and still agile Volvo. So there we went…

The service is very good. It’s a small shop with few amenities and cramped quarters for a waiting room (which consists of two chairs). So we stroll across the street and have a small snack at one of a few local restaurants. Sun Automotive’s timing estimates have been accurate thus far, and their communications have been accessible (it’s tiring to call a shop time after time without getting a timely response!).

They made one-mistake - and it could have been disastrous. What I really appreciated about Sun Automotive is that they didn’t shirk the accountability of that mistake. There were no excuses. The person responsible for that one-mistake took ownership of the situation and apologized profusely - and remorsefully. It was an apology from the heart - a contrite and compassionate plea for forgiveness… and forgiveness was granted.

We will continue to have our car repaired at Sun Automotive for many reasons - not the least of which is accountability.
